The updated adaptation of the Martha Washington chair has its origins in the Federal period. Characterized by its tall back, this style chair, known then as a Lolling Chair was made chiefly in New England. It was an American version of a similar form that had been popular in Europe before 1760, when it first appeared in the British colonies of America. Although it was made in the Federal period, this chair owes little to its era, for it is essentially Chippendale-adapted. Other finishes and modifications available. Please inquire for customization.

Dimensions: 24.5" wide x 28.5" deep x 40.5" high

COM: 3 Yds
